From Mont Saint-Michel to Montmartre.
From Chartres to the Champs-Élysées.
From Omaha Beach to the Eiffel Tower.
Beginning with an exploration of the Normandy coast, we will board our floating home-away-from-home in Honfleur–where the Seine spills her soul into the Atlantic–and begin the sinuous journey eastward into the heart and heartland of France en route to Paris.
As before, I will try to update this site with pictures and commentary each day. I have retired the once-reliable but aging Canon digital camera for a new and feature-rich Panasonic model. My pre-departure goal is to familiarize myself with most (if not all) of its new-fangled photo effects before we board our first flight on April 23rd. The proof will be in the pudding as the pundits say.
